About That Time

Well, it's about that time of year. Posts are becoming (remaining?) more infrequent as the various pressures of jobs, school, composing, and life in general start to converge. I'm balance a larger variety of activities than ever now, even if I am only taking four credits. We'll see how next semester's seven credits goes. (That's my last semester taking courses!!!)

Right now I'm working on an orchestra piece commemorating the 200th anniversary of the births of Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin (the same day! Feb. 12, 2008). The piano reduction of the "Lincoln" half is coming along, but the deadline is approaching faster than material is materializing! Well, here goes...
