Andrew Rudin's Viola Concerto with Orchestra 2001

All:

If you can get up to Pennsylvania this weekend, I highly recommend the following concert. I was very impressed by Andrew Rudin's Concerto for Piano and Small Orchestra at the Great Noise Ensemble concert last May at the National Gallery of Art, and I trust his Concerto for Viola, Strings, Harp, Piano, and Percussion will be equally memorable.

Also on the concert is music by Corigliano and Fitko.

Brett Deubner will be the soloist on Rudin's piece, with James Freeman conducting Orchestra 200l (click for tickets).
